Accelerating the implementation of e-government programs and improving young and female managers` performance
The president during his meeting with the head of the Administrative and Recruitment Organization (ARO) emphasized on accelerating the implementation of e-government programs and facilitating and improving providing services to the people in executive agencies.
Jamshid Ansari, vice president and the head of the Administrative and Recruitment Organization (ARO), had a meeting with Dr. Rouhani on Wednesday, April 21, according to the Public Relations Department of Administrative and Recruitment Organization (ARO).
At the meeting, which was held in order to review the progress of the programs of the Administrative and Recruitment Organization, the vice president initially presented a report regarding the procedures of the implementation of the administrative system reform plan and the directions of the president's announcement in the appendix to the appointment order of the head of the Administrative and Recruitment organization and then explained some of the achievements associated with the rightsizing of the government, development of e-government, protecting the rights of citizens in the administrative system, and increasing the share of youth and women in managing the country.
Dr. Rouhani emphasized on the continuity of these programs and mentioned some important inadequacies in the administrative system, then he focused on paying particular attention to improve the service provision to people and providing people with easy and inexpensive access to the services of executive bodies and agencies. Furthermore, the president called attention to accelerating the implementation of e-government projects, and to set a clear timetable for the final deployment of each of these systems and execute them in due time in co-operation with the Administrative and Recruitment Organization (ARO), the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology and the project management authorities.
Dr. Rouhani likewise emphasized on organizing additional and unnecessary structures during the sixth development program and assigned ARO to improve the performance of young and female managers by means of executing the required training courses in order to enhance the abilities and skills of this group of managers and boost women's participation in management.
